63rd President
Dale Ripplinger, a veteran REALTOR(r) from
Regina is the 63rd President of The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). He
was sworn in to office at the Association’s Annual General Meeting in Ottawa on
April 4th, 2009.
“Change, particularly in a non-profit volunteer driven
organization, is typically not dramatic or profound…but gradual” the new CREA
President told delegates at the CREA Leadership summit.
“With leadership that encourages creativity and fosters an
environment of change, over time continual improvements occur which
cumulatively build to create a stronger, more relevant and valuable
association. And ultimately more effectively delivers service to its members”
Dale Ripplinger added.
“My vision for CREA is not to build a legacy, not to be remembered
for a special achievement, not to be recognized for a particular accomplishment
but to be one of many who helped make this organization better. One of many who
made suggestions for improvement. One of many who had an idea and wasn’t afraid
to present it. One of many who attended the meetings and rolled up their
sleeves to get the work done. One of many who contributed to making our
Association just a little bit better”.
